Tired of promoted posts clogging your Reddit feed? Reddit Ad Hider silently removes all sponsored and promoted content from Reddit as you scroll — no setup, no whitelist, no config file.

HOW IT WORKS

The extension scans your Reddit feed for posts tagged as "Promoted" and hides them instantly. It uses a MutationObserver to catch ads as they load during infinite scroll, so promoted posts never appear even as you browse deeper into a feed.

Reddit Ad Hider does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. It does not read your Reddit account, track your browsing history, or communicate with any external server. The only data stored is your on/off preference, saved locally in Chrome's storage API.

PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED

- "storage" — saves your enabled/disabled toggle preference locally
- "reddit.com" — required to run the content script on Reddit pages only

No other permissions are requested.
