About

TabAmber lets you save snapshots of your browser — all tabs, tab
groups, colors, pinned tabs, and multi-window layouts — under a
name you choose. Restore any session in one click and pick up
exactly where you left off.

KEY FEATURES

• Save sessions — capture every open window and tab into a named
session with Ctrl+Shift+S or via the side panel.

• Restore anywhere — reopen a saved session in a new window with
all tab groups, colors, titles, and pinned tabs intact.

• Update sessions — overwrite a session with your current tabs
without losing its name or history.

• Tab group support — group titles, colors (blue, red, green…),
and collapsed state are all preserved and fully restored.

• Side panel UI — manage your sessions in a persistent panel
that stays open while you browse.

• Search — instantly filter sessions by name, tab title, URL,
  or group name.

• Sort & reorder — sort by last updated, name, or tab count;
drag cards to set your own order.

• Tab preview — expand any session card to see all its tabs
  with favicons before restoring.

• Auto-save — optionally keep a background snapshot that updates
  automatically whenever tab groups change.

• Export / Import — back up all sessions to a JSON file and
  restore them on any machine.

• Keyboard shortcuts — Ctrl+Shift+S (Mac: ⌘⇧S) to save,
Ctrl+Shift+Y (Mac: ⌘⇧Y) to open the panel.
