Bookmark Brain keeps your bookmarks tidy, duplicate-free, and searchable using Chrome's built-in on-device AI. No internet connection is required, no account is needed, and your data never leaves your device.

ORGANIZE WITH AI
Bookmark Brain analyses your unorganised bookmarks and groups them into named folders automatically. It recognises categories like Development, Entertainment, Finance, AI Tools, Cloud Services, Shopping, Travel, News, and more. Before any changes are made, you review the proposed structure and confirm. A backup is saved automatically so you can undo with one click.

FIND DUPLICATES
Instantly scan your entire bookmark library for URLs saved more than once. Select which copies to remove and clean up in one click.

CHECK DEAD LINKS
Find bookmarks that no longer work. Bookmark Brain checks each URL and flags ones that are unreachable or returning errors, then lets you remove them in bulk.

AI SEARCH
Search your bookmarks by topic or meaning, not just exact words. Type what you are looking for and the on-device AI returns the most relevant results from your library.

REQUIREMENTS
• Chrome 127 or later
• Chrome's on-device AI must be enabled via two Chrome flags before using the Organize and Search features (see setup below)
• The AI model may need to download on first use (handled automatically by Chrome, requires a brief wait)

SETUP
This extension uses Chrome's experimental on-device Prompt API. Before using Organize and Search, go to chrome://flags and enable:
• optimization-guide-on-device-model: Enabled BypassPerfRequirement
• prompt-api-for-extension: Enabled
Then restart Chrome. The Dedupe and Dead Links features work immediately without any flags.
