What it does
Football Spoiler Shield helps fans browse before watching a delayed match. It hides clear football scorelines, result headlines, winner language, and spoiler thumbnails on websites you choose.

How it works
Open the extension on a normal web page. Choose Try on this page once, or turn it on for that site. The extension scans visible page text in your browser tab, masks likely football spoilers, and lets you reveal scores for a short time when you are ready.

Why it is private
No account is required. Page words stay in your browser. Enabled site names and settings are stored only in Chrome local storage. There is no backend, no analytics, no score API, and no sale or transfer of user data.

Permissions
The extension uses activeTab and scripting after a user action. Storage keeps your settings and enabled sites. Optional host access is requested only when you choose to keep spoiler hiding on a specific site. It has no default host permissions.

Limitations
This is a local spoiler filter, not a sports data product. It may hide extra football-related text, and it may miss unusual spoiler wording. You can reveal scores temporarily or turn the shield off for a site at any time.
