    D365 Field Editor lets Dynamics 365 users read and update any Dataverse field directly from the browser — including fields that don't appear on the standard form.
    
      Open the side panel on any D365 record, search across all fields by name or type, edit values, and save with a single click.
    
      HOW IT WORKS
      1. Navigate to any Dynamics 365 record in your browser
      2. Click the D365 Field Editor icon to open the side panel
      3. Search or filter fields by name, type, custom vs system
      4. Edit any field value directly
      5. Click Save — changes are written immediately via the Dataverse Web API
    
      FIELD TYPES SUPPORTED
      • Text and multi-line text (Memo)
      • Numbers: Integer, Decimal, Currency
      • Date and DateTime (handles DateOnly fields correctly)
      • Yes/No (Boolean)
      • Option Sets, Status, State
      • Lookup fields (by GUID)
      • Unique Identifier
    
      AUTHENTICATION & SECURITY
      The extension uses your existing browser session to authenticate — the same cookies your browser already has from being logged into Dynamics 365. No data is sent to any external server. All communication is directly between your browser and your own Dynamics 365 organization.

      • Power users and administrators who need to set fields not on any form
      • Developers testing field values during solution development
      • Support teams needing to fix data without full admin access
