ISS Current Location Badge lets you track the International Space Station directly from the Chrome toolbar. Features: - Live toolbar badge showing ISS status - Popup with the latest ISS latitude and longitude - Compact map view of the current ISS position - Optional use of your current location to estimate the next overhead pass - Local pass prediction using TLE orbital data - Diagnostic logs for visible troubleshooting - Multi-language popup UI How it works: - The extension refreshes ISS position data in the background on a fixed interval - It fetches orbital TLE data to estimate future overhead passes - If you choose to allow location access, the extension uses your location only to calculate pass timing for your area - Location access is requested only after explicit user action inside the popup Data sources: - Open Notify for current ISS position - CelesTrak for orbital TLE data - OpenStreetMap tiles for map display Who it is for: - Space enthusiasts - Students and teachers - Users who want a lightweight ISS tracker in Chrome Notes: - Overhead pass prediction depends on location permission and availability of TLE data - If live data cannot be fetched, the extension falls back to the last cached state and shows a visible error status - Some optional feedback features may send user-provided responses and related technical metadata only when the user explicitly chooses to submit feedback
