About

MeetingLens helps non-native German speakers follow German meetings in real time.

It runs inside Chrome’s side panel and captures audio from the active Chrome tab. When German speech is detected, MeetingLens shows what was said, explains the meaning in your selected language, and suggests short German replies you can say in the meeting.

Privacy:
MeetingLens does not have a backend account system. Your API keys, profile, meeting context, and preferences are stored locally in your browser.

Meeting audio and transcripts are sent only to the AI APIs you configure, such as OpenAI and optionally DeepSeek, so the extension can provide transcription, explanations, and reply suggestions.

MeetingLens does not sell data, use data for advertising, or send your meeting data to Get Digital Guide servers.

Important:
MeetingLens captures Chrome tab audio only. It does not capture full computer system audio or native desktop apps. Please follow local laws, workplace rules, and meeting consent requirements before using it in calls or meetings.
