About
Save a whole X / Twitter thread as a polished PDF or a set of images — in a couple of clicks. ThreadSnap solves a familiar problem: when you try to Print or "Save as PDF" a long thread, the middle of the page comes out blank. That's because X only keeps the posts currently on screen in the page (virtualized scrolling), so the browser's own print never sees the rest. ThreadSnap scrolls the thread from the top, captures each post as it renders, and stitches them into clean, paginated pages. WHAT YOU CAN EXPORT • PDF — every post flowed neatly onto pages, ready to read, print, or archive • Images — each post as its own JPEG or PNG, bundled into a single ZIP MADE TO BE SIMPLE • Captures text, author, timestamps, engagement counts, avatars, photos, and video thumbnails — as they appear in the thread • Optional cap on the number of posts • JPEG (Normal / High / Maximum) or PNG output • A progress counter on the page, and a Cancel button for long threads • Remembers your settings between sessions PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything happens locally in your browser. ThreadSnap does not use the X API, does not sign in on your behalf, does not post or change anything in your account, and never sends your data to us or any server. The only network requests re-read the media and fonts already used by the thread, from Twitter's own servers, so they can be embedded into your file. TIP FOR THE SHARPEST RESULTS Keep the tab in the foreground while ThreadSnap runs — background tabs are throttled by the browser and can produce blank captures. GOOD TO KNOW ThreadSnap works only on x.com / twitter.com pages — the export button stays disabled elsewhere. It works with the posts already displayed in your browser — the same content you can scroll through and read. It does not bypass access controls or retrieve anything you cannot already view. The thread's own fonts are embedded into the export, so text looks the way it does on screen. ThreadSnap is an independent tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by X Corp.
