About
Ledger: Portfolio Viewer is a 100% read-only dashboard for your Ledger
hardware-wallet addresses. Add the public address of each account and see your
whole EVM portfolio — coins, tokens and live USD value — across Ethereum,
Arbitrum, Optimism, Base and Polygon, all in one place.
It never connects to your Ledger device and never asks for your PIN or 24-word
recovery phrase. It only reads public on-chain data for the addresses you add,
so it cannot sign, send, approve or move anything. Ever.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
WHAT YOU GET
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
• Multi-wallet — save any number of addresses with your own labels
("Nano X — personal", "Stax — cold").
• Aggregate dashboard — total portfolio value, a per-chain allocation bar and
your top holdings across every wallet at a glance.
• Per-wallet detail — chain tabs, native coins and ERC-20 tokens with live USD
prices, ENS names and one-click explorer links.
• Cache-first — the last snapshot appears instantly; fresh data loads quietly
in the background. Refresh anytime.
• Spam-aware — tokens with no market price (airdrop spam / illiquid) are folded
away and never inflate your total.
• Clear onboarding — learn how to copy your address from Ledger Live, plus a
short quiz on why a public address is safe to share.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
PRIVACY BY DESIGN
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
• No account, no sign-up, no server of ours.
• No analytics, no telemetry, no tracking.
• Your wallet list, labels and cache stay on your device only.
• The only network requests are read-only calls to public Blockscout explorer
APIs — the same data any block explorer shows.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
HOW IT WORKS
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
1. In Ledger Live, open an EVM account and tap Receive.
2. Verify the address on your Ledger screen and copy it (0x…).
3. Paste it into the viewer and label it.
One address covers all five EVM chains, because every EVM network derives the
same address from your account's public key.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
A NOTE ON SAFETY
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
A public address only reveals balances — nobody can move funds with it. No
legitimate tool ever needs your recovery phrase. This extension will never ask
for it; if anything ever appears to, close it and report it.
