The SmartCVs Job Analyzer extension is built for Pro users of SmartCVs.ai - an AI-powered platform for tailoring resumes and tracking job applications. With this extension, you can send any job description from any website to your SmartCVs account in a single click, then keep browsing while our AI analyzes how well your CV matches the role.

WHAT IT DOES

• Right-click any selected job text on Seek, LinkedIn, Indeed, Workday, or any other job site
• Pick which CV to analyze against from your SmartCVs library — Master CV by default, or any custom CV you've created
• Get a Chrome notification when the analysis is ready, including the match score (e.g. "78% match · Analysis complete") and a one-line snippet from the analysis
• Click the notification to jump straight to your full analysis on SmartCVs.ai — recommendations, missing keywords, suggested improvements, highlighted strengths, and more

HOW IT WORKS

1. Connect once. Click the extension icon, sign in to your SmartCVs account in a new tab - that's it.
2. Send a job. Highlight the job description on any site, right-click, and choose "Send to SmartCVs Job Analyzer." Or paste it into the popup if right-click isn't an option.
3. Get notified. A Chrome notification fires when the AI is done. Click through to see the full breakdown on SmartCVs.

WHY USE IT

• Keep browsing. The analysis runs in the background; you don't need to keep a SmartCVs tab open.
• Pick the right CV. Multi-CV users can default to whichever CV best fits the role they're browsing without leaving the popup.
• All your data stays in your SmartCVs account. Connected jobs show up in your job tracker the moment you send them.

PRO PLAN REQUIRED

The extension is available exclusively to SmartCVs Pro users. If you're on the Free plan, you can install the extension and connect, but sending jobs requires Pro.

PRIVACY

• The only thing the extension reads from a webpage is text you've explicitly selected, plus the page title and URL of the tab you're sending from.
• Nothing is read, logged, or transmitted unless you explicitly invoke the extension via the right-click menu or popup.
• Your bearer token is stored only in your local browser; it's never shared with third parties.
