About

Linear's built-in "Copy content as Markdown" only copies **one issue at a
time**. When a parent task has 20 or 30 sub-issues, feeding the whole thing to
an AI assistant means dozens of menu clicks and a lot of manual copy-paste.

**Copy Linear Task + Sub-tasks as Markdown does it in one click.** It walks the
entire issue tree for you and stitches everything - the parent, every
sub-issue, and all comments - into a single clean Markdown document, ready to
paste into Claude Code, ChatGPT, Cursor, or any other AI tool.

HOW TO USE

1. Open a Linear issue (the parent task) in your active tab.
2. Click the extension icon to open the side panel.
3. (Optional) toggle "Include sub-issues".
4. Click "Copy task & sub-tasks".
5. When it finishes, use "Copy all" or "Download .md".

That's it. A large tree (30+ sub-issues) takes a little while, because the
extension deliberately paces itself to stay polite to Linear and load each
issue's full content reliably.

PRIVACY - EVERYTHING STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE

This is a device-only extension. It has **no servers, no analytics, no tracking
and no network calls of its own**. Nothing it reads from your Linear issues ever
leaves your browser. The only thing it stores is your on/off toggle preference,
saved locally. It runs only on https://linear.app.
