Code Review AI

About

Code Review AI is a tool meant to help developers with the task of reviewing Pull Requests/Merge Requests.

This was developed after spending hundreds of hours on reviewing code of peer developers and understanding that this task can be done quite well using an AI.

Reviewing code can be a very tedious task, with this extension, you can just click "Review Code" when on the MR/PR page and let the extension post review comments on your behalf. 

The extension gets the diff of the PR/MR and sends it to the backend to be parsed and passed to the AI to be reviewed.

The extension will not publish the comments but let you review them first and decide whether you want to post them or not.

Remember, AI is not perfect. It makes mistakes some times so it is worth checking the comments generated by it. 

No PAT or any kind of access to your repo is required, the extension works within your source control provider UI and only sends the diff to the backend.

We under no circumstances saves your diffs or any information about your repo/code/user. The models we're using in the backend are asked to not learn of the info we send them or save them in any way.

The extension has a settings page to allow to ignore files in the review (using file suffix) and give rules to the AI to put emphasis on in the review.

Currently this is in beta, working only for GitLab but we intend to add more vendors over time.
