About

Twitch Improved helps you use Twitch with less noise and more control.

It removes recommendation-heavy UI elements you do not want, and adds a watch heatmap so you can see which parts of VODs you already watched.

Use it to:

- Hide distracting recommendation modules on Twitch home and channel pages
- Keep your sidebar focused on followed channels
- Hide specific upsell UI elements if you prefer a cleaner layout
- Track watched segments for VODs (and optionally live sessions that later map to VODs)
- Show heatmap overlays on VOD tiles and the player bar
- Mark videos as watched and tune watched-threshold behavior
- Export, import, and clear your local watch-history data from Settings
- Settings are easy to access: click the extension icon to open the options page.

Privacy-focused by design:

- No analytics or telemetry
- No third-party data sharing
- Data is stored locally in your browser profile (with settings in browser sync storage)
