HOW IT WORKS

At a configurable interval (e.g. every 5 minutes of watch time), the extension pauses the video and presents a short quiz. Every question is generated from the video's actual transcript — covering only the content you've already seen, never spoiling what's ahead. Answer the questions, see instant feedback, then continue watching.

Questions are quietly generated in the background before each quiz is due, so the dialog appears the moment the video pauses — no waiting, no loading spinners.

SUPPORTED AI PROVIDERS

You choose which AI powers your quizzes:

• Google Gemini — Free tier available with a Google account. Great for getting started at no cost.
• OpenAI (GPT) — Requires an OpenAI account with API access.
• Anthropic Claude — Requires an Anthropic account with API access.
• xAI Grok — Requires an xAI account.

All providers are accessed directly from your browser using your own API key. The extension includes a direct link to get a key for whichever provider you choose.

Install the extension
Click the extension icon and open Options
Select your AI provider and paste in your API key
Set your preferred quiz interval and number of questions
Open any YouTube video — the extension handles the rest

PRIVACY

This extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Your API key is saved locally using Chrome's built-in storage. The only outbound requests are the ones you trigger: transcript segments sent to your chosen AI provider's API to generate quiz questions. No account, no sign-up, no telemetry.
