About
Hebrew RTL fixes broken text direction for Hebrew content on any website. Most English-first websites don't handle Hebrew text properly — paragraphs align left, punctuation lands on the wrong side, and mixed Hebrew-English content looks scrambled. Hebrew RTL corrects this automatically, at the element level, without touching the rest of the page. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ WORKS OUT OF THE BOX ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Pre-configured for the sites where Hebrew speakers spend the most time: • ChatGPT — AI responses and user messages • Claude — response paragraphs and user input • Google Gemini — chat responses • Google NotebookLM — chat messages • Slack — rich text message sections ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ADD ANY SITE IN SECONDS ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ The built-in visual picker lets you point and click on any element to add RTL correction to any site: 1. Click "+ Add Selector" in the popup 2. Hover over elements on the page — they highlight as you move 3. Click to select — a builder overlay shows you the CSS selector and a live preview of all matched elements 4. Save — correction applies immediately and syncs across your devices ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ SMART DETECTION ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Hebrew RTL uses Unicode bidirectional analysis to decide when to apply RTL: it checks the first strong character and the ratio of Hebrew letters in each element. Code blocks, math formulas, URLs, and file paths are always left untouched. For elements where you always want RTL regardless of content, Force RTL mode applies direction unconditionally. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ MORE FEATURES ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ • Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+H (Mac: ⌃⇧H) to toggle on/off instantly • Streaming support: re-evaluates direction as AI responses stream in • Per-domain config: each site has its own independent settings • Export/import: back up your configuration as a JSON file • Hover to highlight: hover a selector row to see matched elements on page • Syncs across devices via Chrome sync ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ PRIVACY ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Hebrew RTL does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. All configuration is saved locally in Chrome's built-in sync storage. No analytics, no tracking, no external servers.
