About

Proxy Auto Auth MV3 automatically responds to proxy authentication prompts with credentials saved by the user.

Features:

- Manifest V3 support for current versions of Chrome
- Optional proxy host and port restriction
- Configurable retry limit to prevent repeated authentication attempts
- Local-only settings storage
- No analytics, advertising, accounts, or external servers

The extension only responds to proxy authentication challenges. It does not configure Chrome's proxy server and does not collect or transmit browsing activity.

Credentials are stored in the user's local Chrome profile through `chrome.storage.local`. Users can clear all saved settings from the extension popup.
