Lock your PDF with a user password (required to open) and an owner password (required to edit). Recipients without the password simply cannot access the file.

Restrict permissions (Pro)
Disable printing, copying, or modifying at the document level. Share a PDF that can be read but not duplicated.

Wipe metadata (Pro)
Remove the author name, creation tool, timestamps, and any other metadata embedded in the file before sending it out.
