• Current Tab — Record the active Chrome tab.
• Screen or Window — Record an application window or your entire display.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

Captora processes recordings locally in your browser.

• No account is required
• No analytics or advertising trackers
• No recording is uploaded to a remote server
• No browsing history is collected
• No website content is transmitted
• No recording is shared with third parties

Recordings remain on the user's device until downloaded, replaced by a newer recording, manually deleted, or removed with the extension.

HOW TO USE

1. Open Captora from the Chrome toolbar.
2. Select Area, Tab, or Screen mode.
3. Configure audio, microphone, quality, frame rate, and delay.
4. Click Start recording.
5. Select the screen, window, tab, or area to capture.
6. Stop the recording when finished.
7. Preview or download the recording from the local library.

For area recording, select an entire display through Chrome's secure sharing dialog, then choose the fixed area you want Captora to record.

Captora uses Chrome's built-in screen-sharing and permission dialogs. Screen, window, tab, and microphone access only begins after the user explicitly starts a recording and approves the requested source.

Captora is suitable for tutorials, demonstrations, presentations, bug reproduction, training, workflow documentation, and personal screen capture.
