BuyBlock is an impulse-purchase cooldown for Chrome. When you're about to buy something you didn't plan for, BuyBlock first researches the product for you — then makes you wait 24-72 hours before you can act on what it found. By the time the cooldown ends, the dopamine has faded and you're left with the information instead.

WHY BUYBLOCK?
  
Most "wishlist" tools just collect stuff you want. BuyBlock is the opposite: it defuses urgency in two layers. First, AI research deflates the rush in real time ("oh, it's actually overpriced" or "reviews flag battery problems"). Then a cooldown sits between you and the buy button so you can decide with a clear head instead of in the heat of the moment.

HOW IT WORKS
  
1. See something you want to buy on a product page (Amazon, eBay, Shopify stores, almost any retailer).
2. Click the BuyBlock icon. The extension captures the product and starts AI research immediately.
3. In about 15 seconds the full report appears: real price history, review red flags (battery issues, defects, sizing), cross-retailer comparison, and an honest verdict.
4. Now the cooldown starts — 24h, 48h, or 72h, you choose. You sit with the information you just read while the impulse fades.
5. When the cooldown ends, decide with a clear head: buy, or skip.
