THE DRAINBRAIN AI ENGINE

DrainBrain is a 5-model AI ensemble that analyzes tokens across multiple dimensions - on-chain authorities, liquidity structure, holder distribution, behavioral patterns, and wallet networks. Each model specializes in different risk signals, and their scores are combined into a single weighted verdict.

The system also detects rug stages (1-5) so you can see how far along a potential rug pull has progressed.

KEY FEATURES

Automatic Detection
No need to paste mint addresses. The extension reads the token from the URL path, query parameters, or page DOM depending on the DEX site. Works with Jupiter's /swap/SOL-{MINT} paths, Raydium's ?outputMint= params, pump.fun's /coin/{MINT} paths, and more.

Pre-Swap Safety Net
When you click "Swap" on any DEX and your wallet asks you to sign the transaction, RugSlayer intercepts with a risk warning overlay. You see the DrainBrain score and risk level before confirming. This works with Phantom, Solflare, Backpack, and any wallet that implements the Solana wallet standard.

Risk Badge Overlay

Extension Icon Badge
The toolbar icon changes color to match the current token's risk level so you can see it at a glance without looking at the page.

Smart Caching
Scan results are cached locally for 5 minutes using chrome.storage.local. Switching between tokens you've already scanned is instant with no additional API calls.

Popup Interface
Click the extension icon to access:
- Manual scan by pasting any Solana token mint address
- Last 10 scan results with scores and risk levels
- API key configuration
- Auto-scan toggle
- Connection status and tier display

Fail-Open Design
If the DrainBrain API is unreachable, times out, or your daily scan limit is reached, the extension shows a warning but NEVER blocks your transaction. You can always swap. Safety tools should protect you, not lock you out.

MATURITY AWARENESS

Not all tokens are risky. RugSlayer recognizes established tokens with clean authorities (no mint/freeze), broad holder distribution (500+), and long track records. These get a maturity discount that lowers their risk score appropriately. A 1-year-old token with 100K holders is not going to rug.
