About

Advanced Font Settings gives you detailed control over Chrome’s default font preferences.

Use the extension to customize fonts for different writing systems and generic font families, including Standard, Sans-serif, Serif, Monospace, Cursive, and Fantasy. You can also adjust default font size, fixed-width font size, and minimum font size from one clean settings page.

The extension is useful for users who want better readability, language-specific font control, or a more personalized browsing font setup.

Key Features:

• Customize Chrome default fonts
• Set fonts by writing script or language group
• Configure Standard, Sans-serif, Serif, Monospace, Cursive, and Fantasy font families
• Supports many script groups, including Latin, Cyrillic, Greek, Arabic, Hebrew, Devanagari, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and more
• Adjust default font size
• Adjust fixed-width font size
• Adjust minimum font size
• Live font preview
• Search and filter script rows
• Highlight modified font settings
• Reset fonts for a specific script

How to Use:

1. Install Advanced Font Settings.
2. Click the extension icon or open the extension options page.

Font Size Controls:

Advanced Font Settings lets you adjust:

• Default font size
• Fixed-width font size
• Minimum font size

These settings use Chrome’s built-in font settings system.

Import and Export:

You can export your current font configuration as a JSON file and import it later. This is useful when moving settings between browsers or restoring a previous setup.

Privacy Friendly:

Advanced Font Settings works locally through Chrome’s built-in font settings API. Based on the current extension files, it does not collect personal information, does not read website content, does not track browsing activity, and does not send data to any external server.
