About

SimplRead turns long, dense web text into short, plain-language reading slides — one calm screen at a time. Built for dyslexic and ADHD readers, it works on news articles, blog posts, social posts, message threads, and anything you highlight on a page.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Open any article or webpage (or highlight text you want to read).
2. Click the SimplRead icon → Scan page or Scan selection.
3. SimplRead extracts the main content, simplifies it with AI into bite-sized slides, and opens a distraction-free reader.
4. Move through slides with arrow keys, spacebar, or on-screen controls.

• No account required for BYOK — add your API key in Settings and start reading.

• Scan page — articles, blogs, and general page content
• Scan selection — highlight a paragraph, social post, or message and simplify just that text
• Right-click menu — “SimplRead selected text” on any highlighted text
