About
Copy sessionStorage & localStorage across different browsers and profiles via system clipboard Detailed Description **Session & Local Storage Copier** lets you copy the entire sessionStorage or localStorage from any web page and paste it into another tab — even in a completely different browser or user profile. How It Works The extension uses the **system clipboard** as the transport layer. This means data is not locked inside a single browser — you can copy storage in Chrome and paste it in Firefox, or move it between separate browser profiles. 1. Open the page you want to copy storage from 2. Click the extension icon → press **Copy** (for sessionStorage or localStorage) 3. Switch to the target tab, page, browser, or profile 4. Click the extension icon → press **Paste** All keys are restored instantly. Key Features - **Cross-browser transfer** — copy in Chrome, paste in Firefox or Edge (and vice versa) - **Cross-profile transfer** — move session state between different browser profiles - **Supports both storage types** — sessionStorage and localStorage - **Data validation** — clipboard content is verified before restoring to prevent corruption - **No external servers** — everything stays on your machine, nothing is sent over the network Use Cases - Transfer login sessions between development and staging environments - Move application state across browser profiles during testing - Share session data between team members (copy → send via chat → paste) - Quick backup and restore of localStorage during debugging ### Privacy This extension does **not** collect, store, or transmit any user data. There are no analytics, no telemetry, and no network requests. All data stays in your system clipboard and browser storage.
