About
Xenett Pulse is a diagnostic-review tool for accountants and bookkeepers working with QuickBooks Online. This Chrome extension is a companion to the Xenett Pulse web app — it captures bank reconciliation and bank-feed information that QuickBooks Online's public API does not expose, so it can appear in the Data Completeness section of every diagnostic report you generate in Xenett Pulse. What this extension captures The last reconciled date for each bank and credit-card account in your connected QuickBooks Online companies The last statement-ending date for each reconciliation Bank-feed status (number of pending / unmatched transactions, and any connection error like UNABLE_TO_CONNECT) What this extension does NOT capture No transaction-level financial data No customer, vendor, or contact information No login passwords, MFA codes, or QuickBooks credentials No data from any QuickBooks company you have not explicitly connected to your Xenett Pulse workspace How it works Install the extension and sign into your Xenett Pulse workspace at xenett.com (or your firm's custom domain). The extension automatically receives a workspace-scoped bearer token — no copy-pasting required. Sign into QuickBooks Online in the same browser. Open a client report inside Xenett Pulse. The extension briefly opens QuickBooks' reconciliation summary and banking pages in a transient background tab, captures the data, and posts it to your Xenett Pulse workspace. The tab closes automatically within 25 seconds. The report refreshes with the new data — last reconciled dates and bank-feed counts populate the Data Completeness section. Data security All communication uses HTTPS. Your Xenett Pulse bearer token is stored only in chrome.storage.local on your own machine and is SHA-256 hashed server-side. Captured QuickBooks data is sent only to your own Xenett Pulse workspace and never to any third party. The extension can only receive messages from the Xenett Pulse web app's origins (your firm's Xenett Pulse domain, or xenett.com), enforced by Chrome's externally_connectable policy. Source-code transparency This extension does not load any remote code. Every JavaScript file is bundled with the package and reviewable via chrome://extensions → Inspect views. Requirements An active Xenett Pulse account (sign up at xenett.com) A QuickBooks Online subscription (Online edition; Desktop is not supported) One or more QuickBooks companies connected as clients inside your Xenett Pulse workspace Support For help, contact [email protected] or visit your Xenett Pulse account dashboard.
