About

CryptoRocket is a non-custodial crypto wallet. Your recovery phrase is generated on your device and encrypted with a password only you know. We do not hold your keys, we cannot move your funds, and we cannot recover your wallet if you lose your recovery phrase.

SUPPORTED NETWORKS
Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Tron, Base, and popular stablecoins (USDT, USDC) across the networks where they live.

WHAT THE EXTENSION DOES
- Send and receive crypto directly from the browser toolbar.
- View your portfolio balance across every chain in one place.
- Swap between supported assets at live market rates through integrated liquidity providers.
- Buy crypto with a card through our on-ramp partners. Identity verification and payment settlement happen directly with the on-ramp provider, not with us.
- Pay in one click on sites that embed the CryptoRocket payment widget. When a merchant shows a CryptoRocket invoice, the extension detects it, surfaces the payment details pulled from our backend, and signs locally after you approve.

WHAT THE EXTENSION DOES NOT DO
- We never see your recovery phrase or password. Both stay on your device.
- We do not inject a generic wallet provider into random websites. The extension only reacts to CryptoRocket-branded payment widgets.
- We do not track your browsing. The content script only runs on cryptorocket.com and listens for one specific message type.

FEES
CryptoRocket is free to install and use. Standard network fees apply to on-chain transactions. Swap and on-ramp provider fees are disclosed before you confirm each transaction.

SECURITY
- Your recovery phrase is encrypted with a password-derived key using PBKDF2 and never leaves your device.
- The extension's service worker never handles key material. Signing happens only in the popup, and decrypted keys are wiped the moment the popup closes or auto-lock triggers.
- All backend requests go to https://cryptorocket.com over HTTPS.

PERMISSIONS WE REQUEST
- storage: stores your wallet preferences (selected chain, display currency, theme) on your device. No key material is ever stored here.
- scripting and host access to cryptorocket.com: lets the extension detect our own payment widget when it is embedded on a merchant site, so we can offer one-click pay. We do not read merchant page content or form fields.
- sidePanel: optional side-panel view of the wallet for users on Chrome 114 or newer.
- alarms: periodic background price ticker refresh.

IMPORTANT DISCLOSURES
CryptoRocket is not a bank, investment adviser, broker-dealer, or money transmitter in your jurisdiction. Crypto is volatile and you are solely responsible for the security of your device, your password, and your recovery phrase. Lose any of those and nobody, including us, can recover your funds.
