About
BP Geolocation Spoofer is a Chrome geolocation spoofer built for developers, QA testers, proxy users, and privacy-minded browser workflows. It lets you control the location returned by navigator.geolocation without changing your IP address, timezone, system GPS, browser locale, or account-level map settings. Use saved location profiles like Paris, Tokyo, New York, London, Bucharest, Berlin, Sydney, and San Francisco, or add a custom latitude and longitude with OpenStreetMap lookup. Switch back to My real location anytime, or exclude specific websites that should receive the real browser geolocation. Key features: Spoof browser geolocation for location-based website testing. Choose preset city profiles with country flags. Add custom location profiles with latitude, longitude, accuracy, and optional altitude. Use OpenStreetMap lookup to autocomplete location names and coordinates. Exclude selected websites from spoofing. Show, move, hide, or disable the on-page spoofed-location indicator. Keep location profiles and site exclusions in Chrome storage on this browser. Turn spoofing on or off from a compact BP-style popup. Common uses: Test localized search, maps, weather, booking, delivery, and retail experiences. Verify web apps that request browser geolocation. Check location-aware layouts and flows without manually changing coordinates in DevTools. Keep specific trusted sites on real browser location while spoofing other pages. Privacy notes: The extension stores settings locally in chrome.storage.local. Saved locations, selected location, on/off state, excluded domains, overlay visibility, and overlay position remain on this browser. OpenStreetMap lookup sends only the typed location search query to the lookup provider when you use autocomplete. The extension does not collect page content, browsing history, passwords, payment data, or personal messages. Important limitation: BP Geolocation Spoofer changes the browser Geolocation API response visible to page JavaScript. It does not change your IP address, proxy, VPN, timezone, operating-system GPS, language, browser locale, or signed-in account location.
