Header Control lets you add, override, and remove HTTP headers on requests and responses - organized into named profiles you can flip on or off independently.

It's built on Chrome's declarativeNetRequest API rather than the older webRequest approach, so header rules are enforced natively by Chrome. The extension's own code is never in the request path and never reads your traffic.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
- Create multiple profiles, each with its own URL pattern, header rules, and on/off switch
- Set, append, or remove individual request headers
- Set, append, or remove individual response headers - useful for CORS testing, cache-control overrides, and similar
- Scope a profile to a URL pattern and exclude specific domains from it
- Export your profiles to a JSON file and import them again, for backups or sharing a setup with a teammate

PERMISSIONS
Site access is requested explicitly, with one click, and only when you choose to grant it - it is never bundled into the install prompt. Header Control does not use content scripts, does not read page content, and does not send data anywhere. Everything is stored locally in Chrome, on your device.
