About
ZenRead: Read faster, stay focused We built ZenRead to make long texts easier to read. Many of us spend hours reviewing AI responses, articles, and documents. Dense paragraphs slow us down and tire our eyes. ZenRead changes how the text appears so reading feels lighter and more focused. Instead of scanning lines, ZenRead shows one word at a time using Rapid Serial Visual Presentation (RSVP). Each word is aligned at its Optimal Recognition Point, so the eye stays still and the brain recognizes the word quickly. Less eye movement. More attention on the meaning. This makes long texts easier to follow and reduces reading fatigue. The result is a calmer, more continuous reading flow. Whether we are reviewing AI outputs, researching online, or reading documents, ZenRead helps turn dense text into a clear sequence we can process faster. Key features Optimal recognition alignment Each word appears at its recognition point, reducing eye movement and helping the brain process it faster. Natural reading rhythm Short pauses after punctuation keep the pace close to natural reading. Flexible speed control Reading speed can be adjusted from 200 to more than 1000 words per minute. Simple navigation Keyboard shortcuts keep the interaction simple. Press Space to start or pause. Use the arrow keys to adjust speed. Works with Google Docs ZenRead handles canvas-based documents, so we can read and review text directly inside Google Docs. ZenRead is built for people who work with information every day and want a calmer, faster way to read it.
