Epubify turns the page you're reading into a clean EPUB 3 file — the kind of thing you'd be happy to open in iBooks, Kindle, Calibre, or any reader that respects typography.

One click. No accounts. No servers. Nothing leaves your browser.

WHAT IT DOES
• Extracts the article from the current page using the same engine Firefox Reader View is built on (Readability).
• Strips ads, navigation, footers, related-article rails, and the rest of the page furniture.
• Wraps the result in a properly-structured EPUB 3 archive — table of contents, metadata, cover-ready, valid container — and downloads it to your Downloads folder.
• Optional: strip images if you want a leaner, text-only volume.

WHY EPUB
PDF locks text into a page size that wasn't built for your screen. HTML lives only as long as the page does. EPUB reflows to fit your reader, survives the original page disappearing, and goes wherever your library does.

WHO IT'S FOR
• People who read long-form on devices that aren't a laptop.
• People who want a permanent, portable copy of a piece of writing they care about.

PRIVACY
Everything happens locally inside your browser. The extension does not contact any server, does not run any remote code, does not collect analytics, and does not see your browsing history. The "all sites" permission exists because articles can live on any domain — it is only used on the tab you're actively viewing when you press the button.

LIMITS
Epubify works on essays, posts, blog entries, and long reads. It cannot lift content from photo galleries, paywalled articles you haven't accessed, browser-internal pages (chrome://), or single-page apps that render their text without any underlying article markup.
