Se trata de una funcionalidad que permite modificar la forma en que se abren los enlaces de YouTube desde el navegador.

En lugar de abrir https://www.youtube.com/..., la extensión permite abrir los mismos enlaces en https://www.yout-ube.com/....

Menú contextual (clic derecho sobre un enlace):

Al hacer clic derecho en un enlace que apunte a www.youtube.com, aparece una nueva opción en el menú contextual:
“Abrir en you-tube.com”.

Si seleccionas esta opción, el enlace se abre en una nueva pestaña, pero con el dominio sustituido:

Ejemplo:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7NEdda7dlJg
⬇️
https://www.yout-ube.com/watch?v=7NEdda7dlJg.

Compatibilidad:

Funciona en cualquier página web donde haya enlaces a youtube.com.

Solo afecta a los enlaces seleccionados con clic derecho, no interfiere con el comportamiento nativo de Chrome.
