About
Alfred sits quietly on LinkedIn and scores every job posting you open — automatically, without any setup. **What Alfred detects:** 🔍 Ghost Jobs — positions that have been reposted multiple times, have 100+ applicants yet remain open for months, and likely aren't actively hiring. ⚠️ Scam Signals — listings that ask for money, bank details, or direct contact via WhatsApp or Telegram. 🟡 Red Flags — vague descriptions under 300 characters, excessive urgency language, missing salary information, or no company page. **How it works:** Alfred reads the job posting page and checks 15 independent signals. It uses LinkedIn's structured data (not fragile CSS selectors) so it stays accurate even when LinkedIn redesigns its interface. Each job gets a score and a clear label: • 🟢 Looks Legitimate • 🟡 Some Red Flags • 👻 Possible / Likely Ghost Job • ⚠️ Potential Scam **Community voting:** Applied to a job? Report back whether you got a response or were ghosted. Alfred aggregates these reports so future applicants can see real outcome data — the most reliable ghost job signal of all. **Position history:** Alfred tracks when a company+title combination was first seen and how many times it has been reposted. If a role keeps reappearing under different job IDs, you'll know. **Privacy first:** Alfred uses Firebase anonymous authentication — no account required, no personal data collected. Your vote is tied to a randomly generated ID that cannot be linked to your identity. **Verify independently:** One-click links to Google, Glassdoor, and the company's LinkedIn page are built right into the panel.
