About

Your profile. Every form. One click.

my-id.ca is your personal data vault — the one place that remembers your ID details, addresses, contacts, work history, and every other detail you're tired of typing over and over. This extension is how that vault follows you around the web: it fills job applications, rental forms, government paperwork, and healthcare portals with your own saved information, so you never have to dig up the same answers twice.

It also captures LinkedIn profiles and job postings into your account, and can fill PDF forms without leaving Chrome.

Why you'll love it

- Fill an entire form in one click. Ask "Fill the form on this page" from the side panel and every recognized field is completed in one pass — with a summary of what was filled and what needs a second look.
- One-click Undo. If a fill isn't quite right, undo the whole run instantly and get your fields back the way they were.
- Gets faster every time you visit a site. my-id.ca autofill remembers how a site's fields map to your profile, so returning visits skip the guesswork and fill instantly.
- Fill just one field, your way. Focus any input and pick from a suggestions dropdown of your own saved values — no page-wide commitment required.
- AI steps in only when it's useful. Straightforward fields fill instantly from your profile; AI is reserved for the fields that actually need judgment, so nothing feels slow or overdone.
- You decide where it runs. Autofill is off by default on every new site and turns on per-site from the popup — never silently active in the background.
- Capture LinkedIn profiles in a click. On a LinkedIn profile page, pull visible details straight into your my-id.ca person record.
- Track job postings automatically. On a job listing, add the parsed role details to your latest job search with one action.
- Fill PDF forms without downloading extra tools. Ask AI chat to fill a PDF open in a Chrome tab, then continue in my-id.ca with profile matching or the visual field editor.
- Attach a PDF, get it back completed. Drop a PDF into the side-panel chat and my-id.ca fills it from your saved profile and hands back the finished file — no tab-switching, nothing stored on our servers beyond what you ask it to keep.

How it works

1. Sign in with your my-id.ca account.
2. Turn on Autofill for the site you're on.
3. Focus a field for a quick suggestion, or ask AI chat to fill the whole page.
4. Review the summary, keep what's right, and Undo anything that isn't.
5. Next time you're on that site, my-id.ca autofill already knows what goes where.

Built for real life, not paperwork

- Job seekers filling out application after application without retyping the same answers.
- Anyone applying for a rental, a loan, or a government service that wants the same ID and contact details every time.
- People who'd rather keep one accurate record of their own information than hunt for it across old emails and documents.
- Anyone who wants fewer copy/paste steps, fewer typos, and less time lost to repetitive forms.

Privacy and control, by design

- Autofill stays off on a site until you explicitly turn it on.
- The extension never runs on restricted browser pages such as chrome:// pages.
- Your data goes to my-id.ca only to power the feature you asked for — a suggestion, an import, a capture, or a fill you triggered.
- Your profile lives in your own encrypted my-id.ca vault, hosted in Canada — it's yours, not training data for someone else's AI.

In short

my-id.ca autofill turns the most tedious part of the web — filling out forms with information you've already typed a hundred times — into a single click, learns your sites over time, and always leaves you in control with instant Undo.
