Reddit Reply Drafter reads the thread you have open and generates reply options in your voice. You pick one, edit it however you want, then paste it yourself. Nothing posts automatically. Nothing gets sent to Reddit on your behalf.

HOW IT WORKS

Open any Reddit thread on new Reddit or old Reddit. Click the extension icon. Hit "Draft replies for current page." Within a few seconds you get 2–3 reply options tailored to the discussion. Copy the one you like, paste it into the Reddit comment box, and post it yourself.

The extension reads the page you already have open — it does not use the Reddit API, it does not log into your Reddit account, and it does not touch Reddit's servers at all.

YOUR VOICE, NOT GENERIC AI OUTPUT

The biggest problem with AI writing tools is that they sound like AI writing tools. Reddit Reply Drafter has a voice profile setting. Describe how you write: your background, your tone, phrases you use, things you would never say. The AI uses that profile for every draft.

Don't want to write the profile yourself? Enter your Reddit username in Settings and the extension will analyse your last 50+ public comments to build a starting voice profile automatically. You can then edit it to correct anything.

THREE WAYS TO USE IT

1. Bring your own Anthropic key — paste a key from console.anthropic.com. Requests go directly from your browser to Anthropic's API. Each draft costs a few cents at standard API rates. Your key is stored locally in the extension.

2. Bring your own OpenAI key — same idea, different model. You can also point it at LM Studio if you run a local model.

3. Managed backend — sign in with your email. Free tier: 10 drafts per month at no cost. Pro: unlimited drafts for $9/month. Creator: unlimited drafts for $19/month. No API key needed.

All three modes give you the same draft quality. The managed backend is just easier to set up.

PRIVACY

- Your API key (if you use BYOK) is stored only in your browser's local extension storage. It is never sent anywhere except the provider's own API endpoint.
- The text of the Reddit thread you have open is sent to whichever AI provider you are using to generate the draft. It is not stored by this extension beyond the last 20 drafts in local storage.
- The extension does not track which subreddits you visit, how many posts you read, or anything else. It only activates when you click the button.
- No Reddit credentials are ever requested or stored.

DRAFT HISTORY

The popup keeps the last 20 drafts so you can refer back to them. Drafts are stored locally in the extension. Clear them any time from the popup.

- Choose AI provider and enter API key
- Set or generate your voice profile
- Choose how many draft options per thread (1–4)
- Connect or disconnect your managed account
- View your monthly usage if you are on the free tier
