Threads Emotion Lens is a lightweight Chrome extension that automatically scans posts on your screen, uses AI to detect emotions, and marks each post with:

Each emotion comes with a unique background color and a text label, so you can instantly recognize emotional patterns and avoid being trapped in a negative spiral.

 System Requirements  
- Chrome 128 or newer  
- To use local mode, enable chrome://flags/prompt-api-for-gemini-nano and chrome://flags/optimization-guide-on-device-model (the extension will guide you through the setup)  
- Cloud mode requires a stable internet connection  
-GPU or CPU: Built-in models can run with GPU or CPU.
GPU: Strictly more than 4 GB of VRAM.
CPU: 16 GB of RAM or more and 4 CPU cores or more.
-Storage: At least 22 GB of free space on the volume that contains your Chrome profile
