Password Generator

About

Password Generator creates strong passwords on demand — entirely inside your browser, with no accounts, no servers, and no analytics. Every random byte comes from the browser's `crypto.getRandomValues`, the same primitive that backs HTTPS and WebCrypto.

Key features:
- Length slider from 8 to 64 characters
- Toggle uppercase / lowercase / digits / symbols independently
- Optional "exclude similar characters" (l, 1, I, O, 0) for easier reading
- Generate 1, 5, or 10 candidates at a time
- Visual strength meter for each result (5-bar entropy estimate)
- One-click copy
- Your settings (length, character sets, batch size) are remembered locally; **generated passwords are never stored or transmitted**.

This extension does not collect any user data. There is no remote code — the entire generator ships inside the extension package and runs offline.
