    Jira Flex Dashboard is a companion Chrome extension for the Flex Dashboard web app. It connects your existing Jira browser login to a fast, project-aware dashboard—without storing passwords, API tokens, or OAuth secrets.

    • Bridges your active Jira session to https://flexdash.azurewebsites.net/
    • Toolbar popup for quick access when you are connected

    HOW TO SET UP
    1. Install this extension from the Chrome Web Store.
    2. Open the extension and go to Settings (opens in a dedicated tab).
    3. Choose your Jira site:
       • Pick a site detected from an open Jira tab, or
       • Enter your Jira base URL (e.g. https://your-company.atlassian.net).
    4. Select Cloud or Data Center, then click Save and allow access.
    5. Approve Chrome’s host permission prompt for your Jira URL.
    6. Click Open dashboard, or visit https://flexdash.azurewebsites.net/
    
    PERMISSIONS (why we need them)
    • Tabs — open the dashboard and help detect Jira tabs during setup
    • Storage — save your chosen Jira URL and preferences on this device only
    • Optional host access (https/http) — requested only when you save a specific Jira site; used to call Jira REST APIs with your existing browser session
    
    PRIVACY
    • No Jira passwords or API tokens are collected or stored by the extension
    • Optional host access is granted per site by you
    • Content communication is limited to the approved dashboard origin in production builds
