About

ContextFlow – Local‑First Tab Manager (Chrome Side Panel)

ContextFlow is a lightweight, privacy‑first tab manager that lives directly inside Chrome’s Side Panel. It gives you a clean, real‑time workspace to organize your browsing without leaving the page you’re on.

Why install ContextFlow?

Tame tab overload – Consolidate every open tab from all windows into one unified, vertical list.
Boost productivity & focus – Save an entire window as a named Workspace (Context) and close it to free RAM. Restore the workspace instantly with a single click when you need it again.
Clean & refine instantly – Remove duplicate tabs, merge multiple windows, and drag‑and‑drop tabs to reorder them exactly how you think.

Privacy First – Your data stays yours

Zero external requests – No accounts, no sign‑ins, no cloud trackers; nothing leaves your browser.
Fully local storage – All tab metadata, workspace sessions, and settings are stored securely on your device using IndexedDB.
Private search – Live filtering and search indices are computed 100 % locally.
Key Features

Unified Side Panel view showing all open tabs grouped by window.
Saved Workspaces (Contexts) – name, save, and restore whole tab sessions.
Multi‑Select & Bulk actions – checkboxes let you save or close many tabs at once.
Drag‑and‑Drop reordering – move tabs between windows or reorder within a window.
Instant live filter – type in the search bar to filter tabs across all windows instantly.
Duplicate Tab Killer – identify and close duplicate URLs with a single click.
Window Consolidation – merge multiple open windows into a single window.
How to use

Click the ContextFlow icon in the Chrome toolbar to open the Side Panel.
Use the “Deduplicate” and “Merge Windows” buttons at the top to clean up your workspace.
Click “+ Save Current Window as Context” to store a session and close the window.
Toggle between “Tabs” (live tabs) and “Saved” (workspaces) at the top of the panel.
Filter tabs instantly by typing in the search bar.
ContextFlow is 100 % local‑first, never sends your browsing data off‑device, and is designed to keep you in the flow.
