Qry (pronounced “Query”) turns your browser into something you can actually navigate without thinking. Instead of digging through tabs and menus, you get a fast command palette—kind of like Spotlight or Alfred, but made specifically for the browser.

Whether you’ve got 5 tabs open or 50, Qry helps you jump straight to what you need with smart fuzzy search.

- Open Tabs – jump to the right one immediately
- Bookmarks – grab your saved links instantly
- History – find that thing you read three days ago

2. Actual window management, built right in: Qry isn’t just a search box, it helps you organize your browser too.
- Snapshots: Working on something big? Save all open tabs as a named snapshot, close everything, then restore it later exactly as it was.
- The Stash: Got tab anxiety? Toss tabs into your Stash and bring them back when you need them.
- Split Views: Type >split right to tile your current tab to the right half of the screen. Great for side-by-side work.

3. Built with developers in mind
- Fuzzy Search: Try typing “githb pr” — Qry will figure it out.
- Instant Actions: Pin, mute, close, all without touching the mouse.

4. Make it feel like your tool: Open the settings (gear icon) to customize Qry’s look:
- Themes: Chrome Dark/Light, VS Code, Gruvbox, Dracula, Apple Spotlight, and more
- Scale & Opacity: Adjust the size and transparency to fit your screen

6. Useful Commands at a Glance

Search prefixes:
:t → Tabs (default)
:b → Bookmarks
:h → History

Window actions:
>snapshot [name] – Save current window
>stash – Send current tab to Stash
>split right / >split left – Tile windows

Tab actions:
>pin – Pin/unpin
>mute – Mute/unmute
>close – Close tab
(You can also delete items from Stash or Snapshots via the GUI or Shift + Backspace.)
