About
Cloak Humanizer rewrites AI-flavored text into prose that reads naturally. Paste a paragraph, see what's tripping AI detectors, and humanize with one click.
What it catches
- Overwrought vocabulary: delve, tapestry, realm, intricate, paramount, profound
- Marketing buzzwords: leverage, robust, seamless, cutting-edge, transformative
- Overused transitions: moreover, furthermore, additionally
- Meta-narration: "it's worth noting", "in conclusion", "in essence"
- Em-dash density (the single most reliable LLM tell)
- Tricolons ("X, Y, and Z" parallel structures)
- Parallel negation ("not just X, but Y")
- Sentence-length uniformity
What it does
- Scores any text on a 0–100 AI-likelihood scale
- Replaces banned phrases with plain-English alternatives, preserving capitalization
- Halves em-dash density without flattening every dash
- Flags tricolons and parallel negation so you can revise them by hand
- Runs entirely on your machine — no data leaves your browser
How to use it
- Click the toolbar icon, paste text, click Humanize, click Copy
- Or: select text on any page, right-click, choose "Humanize with Cloak"
Privacy
- No external HTTP requests. No telemetry. No analytics. No remote scripts.
- The only browser permissions requested are storage (for your settings and a local daily counter) and contextMenus (for the right-click action).
- No host permissions. The extension does not see what you do on any web page — it only sees text you actively select and right-click on.
Free tier
- 10 humanizations per day, every day. Daily count resets at local midnight.
- Full feature set in the free tier — no crippled UX.
- Upgrade for unlimited humanization and the full Cloak Content writing service at genintelsys.com/cloak.
