About

Alert Me monitors websites you choose and notifies you when meaningful content changes — similar to Safari's "Notify Me" feature, but for Chrome, Edge, and Brave.

Stop refreshing pages. Pick the sites you care about, and Alert Me checks them in the background and alerts you only when something actually changes.


HOW IT WORKS

1. Click the Alert Me icon on any page
2. Choose "Watch this page" or "Watch section" to monitor a specific part of the page
3. Alert Me checks the page on a schedule you set
4. When content changes, you get a native desktop notification with a brief summary

SETTINGS YOU CONTROL

• Check frequency per site (default: every 45 minutes)
• Significance threshold to ignore minor changes
• Global pause for background checks
• Change history per site (last 20 changes)


LIMITATIONS

• Your browser must be running for background checks
• Logged-in or paywalled pages may not monitor correctly
• Some heavily JavaScript-rendered sites may have limited detection
