Discipline Feed Guard is a privacy-first browser extension for reducing distracting Reddit and YouTube surfaces.

It helps turn Reddit and YouTube into more intentional tools by hiding feeds, recommendations, Shorts, promoted posts, comments, sidebars, discovery routes, and other attention-heavy surfaces.

Reddit protections include:
• Home feed hiding
• Popular and All feed blocking
• Recommendation hiding
• Promoted post hiding
• Right sidebar hiding
• Comment thread hiding
• NSFW/mature post hiding
• Blocked path controls
• Optional subreddit allowlist mode

YouTube protections include:
• Home feed hiding
• Shorts hiding
• Watch-page sidebar hiding

• Explore and Trending hiding
• Best-effort autoplay disabling
• Blocked path controls
• Optional channel allowlist mode

Discipline Feed Guard also includes import/export backup and Lock Mode. Lock Mode prevents protections from being weakened inside the extension UI. Once locked, settings can only become stricter. This does not prevent uninstalling or disabling the extension through Chrome.

Privacy:
Discipline Feed Guard is local-only. It does not use analytics, telemetry, remote logging, or a remote server. Settings are stored with Chrome extension storage only.
