About

Push Note is the desktop companion to the Push Note Android app. Type a quick thought in the toolbar popup, hit Send, and it shows up as a notification on your phone, end-to-end encrypted along the way.

How it works
- Pair your phone once by scanning a QR code shown in the Android app.
- Open the popup with Alt+Shift+N (rebindable in chrome://extensions/shortcuts), type a note, press Send.
- The note is encrypted in the browser using a libsodium sealed box against your phone's public key, then delivered to your device via Firebase Cloud Messaging. The server never sees the plaintext.

What it does not do
- It never reads tab content, URLs, or browsing history.
- It does not request access to any website.
- It stores only your pairing record locally, no notes, no analytics.

Requires the Push Note Android app on a Premium subscription.
