About

DomainGuard adds a layer of protection between you and suspicious links — whether you're browsing the web or clicking links from Microsoft Outlook emails.

Before navigating to an unfamiliar domain, DomainGuard checks it against five trust signals and warns you if something looks off. You decide whether to proceed or cancel.

**How it works:**
• Intercepts link clicks on all web pages, including Outlook Web
• Intercepts links opened from Outlook desktop (macOS/Windows) before the page loads
• Decodes Microsoft SafeLinks URLs to reveal the real destination
• Checks the domain against your browsing history, bookmarks, cookies, and site permissions
• Runs suspicion analysis: entropy scoring, typosquatting detection, IP address links, IDN homograph detection
• Queries Google Safe Browsing API for known malware and phishing URLs
