About
FocusPlay Guard improves HTML5 video playback on sites you choose. Some pages pause video when the tab is hidden, the window loses focus, or the browser is minimized. After you enable FocusPlay Guard for a permitted site and refresh the page, it injects a local early patch that reduces those focus-loss checks and helps video continue playing. Key features: - Off by default; only runs on sites you enable. - Requests site access per site instead of reading every website by default. - Masks common visibility and focus checks such as document.hidden, visibilitychange, and blur. - Shows a colorful toolbar icon when the current site is enabled. - Does not collect, upload, sell, or share user data. FocusPlay Guard does not bypass DRM, paywalls, login restrictions, or server-side access controls. It is intended only for ordinary HTML5 video pages that you are allowed to access.
