Markdown Viewer CX turns raw .md and .markdown files into clean browser
  pages automatically.

  Open a Markdown URL and the extension replaces the plain text document with
  a rendered preview. Code blocks, links, lists, blockquotes, and tables
  stay readable, and embedded HTML is sanitized before display.

  The extension also includes a popup viewer for pasted Markdown, imported
  local .md files, and active-tab Markdown content.

  Core features:
  - Auto-render .md and .markdown pages
  - Preview pasted or imported Markdown in the popup
  - Render code blocks, links, tables, lists, and blockquotes
  - Sanitize embedded HTML before rendering
  - Works with local Markdown files when Chrome file URL access is enabled
