  Gather is the fastest way to capture design inspiration from anywhere on the web. This extension adds two right-click menu items so you can save what you find without breaking flow.
  
  WHAT IT DOES
  
  • Right-click any image → "Add image to Gather" — saves the image to your Gather library, including images on pages you're signed into (Notion, Figma, private CDNs, social feeds).
  
  • Right-click any page → "Add page to Gather" — saves the page as a website reference with its OG title, favicon, and preview image.
  
  • A small toast confirms each save and links straight to the captured reference.
  
  HOW IT WORKS
  
  The extension talks to your Gather account at gatherit.app. Sign in there once and the extension is ready — there's no separate sign-in flow inside the extension itself.
  
  For images, the extension fetches the bytes directly in your browser, re-encodes them to WebP for efficient storage, and uploads them to your Gather library. Gather's AI then analyzes the image and suggests a category.
  
  For pages, Gather's backend scrapes Open Graph metadata and the og:image so the reference looks right in your library.
  
  PRIVACY
  
  • Only saves what you explicitly right-click and confirm. Nothing is captured passively.
  • Your Gather session cookie is used to authenticate API calls. No tokens are stored by the extension.
  • No tracking, no analytics inside the extension, no third-party requests.
