Memos – Private Notes is a Chrome extension for managing notes on your self-hosted Memos server (https://usememos.com), right from your browser. FEATURES • Three editor modes — switch between Rich Text (WYSIWYG), Markdown with live preview, or Plain Text in Settings • Auto-save — notes save automatically as you type, no save button needed • Split-pane layout — notes list on the left, editor on the right • Full markdown support — headings, bold, italic, strikethrough, code blocks, lists, task lists, blockquotes, links, and more • Markdown preview — toggle between Preview and Edit tabs (like an IDE) when using the Markdown editor • Search — instantly filter your notes • Note visibility — set notes as Private, Protected, or Public • Dark and Light themes • Popup or Window mode — use as a quick popup below the toolbar icon, or open as a resizable standalone window • Copy note link — share a direct link to any note • Open in Memos — jump to any note in your Memos web interface • Keyboard shortcuts — Ctrl+N (new note), Ctrl+K (search), Ctrl+Up/Down (navigate notes), and formatting shortcuts in the editor HOW IT WORKS 1. Install the extension 2. Click the icon and enter your Memos server URL and access token 3. Start creating and managing notes — they sync directly to your server Your access token and server URL are stored locally in your browser. No data is sent to third parties. REQUIREMENTS • A self-hosted Memos server (v0.26 or later) - https://github.com/usememos/memos • An access token from your Memos account (Settings → Access Tokens) OPEN SOURCE This extension is free and open source.
