About
RetroChat Wallet Relay lets you use your paired RetroChat wallet signer with Solana dApps in Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers. Connect to compatible dApps, sign messages, and approve Solana transactions without importing private keys into the extension. Wallet Relay securely connects the website to your existing RetroChat signer through an encrypted approval flow. Key features: • Connect your RetroChat wallet to Solana dApps • Sign messages, individual transactions, and transaction batches • Pair using a QR code or RetroChat on the same device • Automatically display new approval requests • Remember approval for the exact requesting website for 15 minutes • Verify the requesting website and action before approving • Revoke or unpair browser access at any time • Support legacy Solana wallet-provider interfaces and Wallet Standard dApps Security and privacy: Wallet Relay never stores your wallet’s private keys or seed phrase. Pairing tokens are stored locally in the extension, while temporary request keys are kept only for the active browser session. Transaction and message contents are encrypted before being sent through the relay service and can only be decrypted by RetroChat using the approval link. Website permissions are required so Wallet Relay can make the wallet provider available on Solana dApps you choose to visit. The extension responds only to explicit wallet connection and signing requests. How it works: Install Wallet Relay and open its toolbar popup. Enter the public address connected to your RetroChat signer. Scan or open the pairing request and approve it in RetroChat. Visit a compatible Solana dApp and select RetroChat. Review and approve wallet requests using RetroChat. After approval, the requesting website receives only the wallet response needed to complete the requested action. Signing remains controlled by your configured RetroChat wallet signer. A RetroChat account and compatible wallet signer are required. Wallet Relay does not create, recover, custody, or manage wallet keys.
