Jargon adds clear, precise inline annotations to any text you select (or to the whole page). Whether you're reading a research paper, a financial report, or a classic novel, Jargon surfaces what terms mean, where they come from, and what they reference.

Five annotation types:
• Definitions — technical and domain-specific terms explained in plain language
• Etymology — word origins and how meanings have evolved over time
• References — cultural, literary, and historical allusions unpacked

Three detail levels:
• Simple — plain language, short sentences, everyday analogies
• Standard — clear and precise, aimed at an educated non-specialist
• Expert — dense, rigorous definitions with formal notation and canonical references

Language support:
Annotate in English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic — or let the extension auto-detect the language of the page.

How it works:
1. Choose annotation type(s), detail level, and language
2. Select text on any webpage and click the tooltip — or click Annotate to process the whole page
3. Annotations appear inline, right where you need them
