Manga Translator is a Chrome side panel extension built for comic reading workflows. It helps users scan images on reading pages, capture original assets, submit translation requests, review results, and export images without leaving the browser.

The extension is designed for image-based comic pages, vertical webtoon readers, and some canvas-based reading pages. After opening a supported or compatible reading page, users can scan page images, preview or acquire them, run single-image or batch translation, check for shared translation results, download original or translated images, and continue reading in reader mode.

Typical use cases:

Important notes:
- Some sites depend on foreground capture, so the target tab must stay visible during capture-related actions
- Some sites only allow capture of the currently visible area
- If a site blocks page-level replacement, translated images may need to be viewed in preview, reader mode, or downloads

Images are uploaded only when the user explicitly starts translation, runs a translation check, or submits image-based issue feedback.
